There is a rise in preventative injection trends designed to protect the skin. Chief amongst these is botox, which serves a multitude of benefits in this regard. Today, we will look at some of the main preventative injection trends that occur from receiving a botox treatment.
The first is to handle wrinkles that are already present on the face, which botox does by paralysing the nerves connected to the associated facial muscles for a prolonged period of time. But by freezing those parts, it also prevents new wrinkles from developing in both those areas and surrounding parts. Wrinkles are unavoidable, but they can be limited and reduced in size, and by using botox, they can be put on hold altogether. Depending on how regular you wish to have botox, it may be a while before any serious wrinkles reappear.
Another trend is to undergo the treatment every couple of months. The botox tends to wear off after around six or nine months, at which point the wrinkles will come back, and you may then decide to have another treatment. But by having botox before this happens, this means that the likelihood and frequency of wrinkles returning will be a lot lower, thus preventing them from seriously hindering your facial features. They will return eventually, but the more often you receive botox, the lower the odds will be of this happening.
One final trend is for clients to actually have botox at a younger age, when these wrinkles are very first starting to show signs of forming. Many customers have this treatment in their 50s and 60s when the wrinkles are very noticeable, and they notice the results of botox more clearly. But some choose to have the botox in their early-to-mid 30s, allowing wrinkles to be nipped in the bud before they can truly develop. This means that while the results of botox are less noticeable, they will keep the skin looking clear and healthy for a longer period before the client reaches the later stages of their life.
