Skin Concerns: Fine Lines and Wrinkles

How to use:

In the evening, apply a small pearl-size amount to the face and gentle smooth until absorbed. It is important to avoid the lips, eye area and wet skin surfaces.

If you are new to Retinol creams, we recommend commencing with the Obagi Retinol 0.5 version and a routine of use only on alternate evenings, or even 2-3 evenings per week maximum, until you can be sure your skin is suited to the product.

Contra-indications: Do not use retinol products if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, taking prescription acne medication or undergoing skin peeling, laser or other regimens. Please note, these products may cause dryness, irritation, breakouts and peeling, and are not always suitable for everyone’s skin. Caution required for use with darker skin types, and it’s use is recommended following consultation with a skincare expert.

If you are new to Retinol creams, you must be cautious when starting products. We would recommend starting with this lower dose version (Obagi Retinol 0.5) and building up to a stronger product over the course of 6+ months, if suitable.

You can request a virtual skin consultation with one of our Clinic Aesthetics practitioners if you have any questions about the suitability of these products for your needs, before purchase or starting any new products.
